Our projects

The Indian National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR) was designated to realize a New Indian Research Base at Larsemann Hill, Antarctica. NCAOR organized an international competition in 2006; IMS won this competition and received the contract in November 2008. To execute the project IMS is leading a consortium of following firms. - IMS Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH(main consultant, coordinator and structural designer) – m+p Consulting, Braunschweig (technical services) – bof architekten, Hamburg (architectural rendering and interiors)

Definition of the general planning boundaries, predesign and preparation of application documents for planning permit: transversal tasks and tunnel design as subcontractor of Spiekermann GmbH

Design of three floating pontoons in modular construction, to be used as an event-/exhibition area and office space for the IBA Hamburg GmbH. One pontoon serves as a marina for boats and smaller ships.

IMS has been asked to participate in an international competition and to submit a draft design for the new Indian research base in the Antarctica. The technical facilities and the architecture of the station have been planned by our partners m+p consulting and bof architekten. The draft design of IMS has won the competition.
